Due to the lack of juniors from other countries going to the WKA World
championships in Scotland for the junior Thai boxing(k-1). Mark and myself have
decided to withdraw from this year’s championship.
We have entered the K-1 European Junior Super League in Latvia on the 22nd
October to the 25th October. Anyone who wishes to go and has qualified please
contact us for more information. Please note only juniors 10yrs and upwards can
enter.
Deposit of £50 per person must be payed by 1st September

Regulations
1. Weighing and registration: 22d of October, 17:00 – 21:00
2. Fight card composing: 22d of October, 21:00 – 23:00
3. Meeting of referees: 23d of October, 9:00 – 9:30
4. Start of fighting: 23d of October, 10:00
5. Semi-final fights: 24th of October, 10:00
1st day: 23.10. – First-circle fights, beginning at 10 a.m.
2d day: 24.10. – Semi-final fights, beginning at 10 a.m.; final – at 6 p.m.

The rules of championship: according to К-1. By cadets of age 10-11: knee kicks to the head are forbidden.
Participation fee is £40 including medical
Equipment: according to the international rules, i.e. helmet, gloves, foot protectors, bandage, teeth protector, and breast protector (for fighters of age 10-11).
Attention: 1. colour of gloves should match an according ring corner.
2. each participant may have not over 2 seconds.
Medical checkup. Each fighter should have a health certificate approved within one week prior to the championship. Otherwise, participants should pass medical inspection during weighing and registration.
Sportsmen without health certificate/inspection are not allowed to the championship!
Foreign teams should give the national anthem and the flag of their country to the championship’s organizing committee beforehand.
Awards
· Juniors (18-20): the winner of every weight category – SEMI-PROFI belt from K-1 EJSL.
· Juniors (16-17) of every weight category – medals and diploma for 1st, 2d, and 3d place.
· Cadets (14-15) of every weight category – medals and diploma for 1st, 2d, and 3d place.
· Cadets (12-13) of every weight category – medals and diploma for 1st, 2d, and 3d place.
· Cadets (10-11) of every weight category – medals and diploma for 1st, 2d, and 3d place.
· Team cups for 1st, 2d, and 3d place
Аnd also cups:
· “The best fighter”
· “The best fighting technique”
· “For a will to win”
· “Cup of spectator liking”
· “Cup from the mayor”
Championship results will be provided to K-1 Corporation, and located on WebPages: www.bushido.lt and www.muaythaiacademy.lv .
Hotel. We book a hotel for foreign participants one month prior to the championship. Hotel “Tomo” is in Riga (www.tomo.lv). Rooms without pre-booking are also available.
